mid may 2024 updates
my 2024 plein airpril e-zine titled Memories of the End is out! it's a 30+ page compilation of paintings centered around FFXIV's endwalker expansion. it's available on ko-fi for free/pay what you want here
i'm suuuper proud of some of the paintings i completed even if i wasn't able to commit to all 30 days of the month like last year's plein airpril challenge. i'm excited to take some of the lessons & techniques i learned into future work! painting backgrounds was not my forte before taking on the challenge, but i'm proud of my growth and confidence in the subject.

i've done commissions for friends and acquaintances throughout the years. however, i've always been nervous about opening them up to a wider public audience, so i'd like to get more experience & step out of my comfort zone. i'm also opening up commissions because my current part time-job might start slowing down on hours with summer vacation season coming up. i'll be looking for other part-time work, but will be opening up commissions to help out while i search!
thank you for your support & taking the time to read this. i do want to create more blog posts in the future, but i just have to come up with ideas for potential blog posts. i've been ruminating on WIPs/process breakdowns/OC related blog posts since it'd be fun to archive. so stay on the lookout if i decide to commit to the idea!
